10 Great ideas and trends for Living rooms in 2022

In this tour you will find new ideas that you may have missed to decorate your living room and get the look right.

How excited were we for 2021 to arrive, right? However, as far as decoration is concerned, the year 2020 brought us great ideas and trends to give our living room a new look, do you want to review them?

1 A hall between two lands

This warm and welcoming room is part of a house that used to be two adjoining houses. See the white door in the background? It was the original from the dining room in one of them. Montse, the owner and interior designer, moved it to the exterior wall of the bathroom so that it had natural light through the upper skylight and, incidentally, so that its mirror fronts multiplied the luminosity.

2 A lounge with a swing

In tune with the casual decoration and the structure with industrial touches, the living area is closed off with a very fun hanging rocker instead of the traditional armchairs.

3 A living room with handmade details

The owner of this house showed her passion for crafts and DIY from a very young age. Then she painted and made dresses for her dolls. Now, as an adult, she is a macramé artist: she makes blankets, cushions, tapestries, plant pots… with which she gives each room an original, cozy and cheerful touch.

4 A hall of timeless elegance

The decoration of this room, elegant and timeless, opted for a mix between casual Californian with a touch of sophistication and the eternal charm of New York style. Neutral tones flow through textures in textiles and materials such as wood, leather and steel, accompanied by plants.

5 A Japandi and Californian living room

The range of neutral tones that surrounds the decoration of this room is enhanced by the elegance and naturalness of the materials and fabrics selected for the project, thus unifying interiors and exteriors to enjoy that carefree concept of life, so typical of California..

6 A dynamic living room

The furniture in the living area harmonizes with the stately style of the house, although its vintage essence is updated with bursts of color and contrasting motifs provided by the cushions and the chic design of the floor lamps.

7 A living room in pastel tones

In the living room of this Scandi -style apartment, a large bench covered in porcelain stoneware runs along the entire wall, punctuated by a minimalist fireplace. Fine picture rails, a rosy beige hue, and brass appliqués enliven the composition.

8 A living room inspired by the sea

The most striking thing in this cozy space is the sharing of a few meters designed to be enjoyed. Living room, kitchen and dining room form an indissoluble unit that the owners share with their three daughters. The house is located on the beachfront of the Alicante town of San Juan, therefore, the guiding thread of the decoration is the sea, an infinite turquoise horizon that the family always has in view thanks to the large windows.

9 An essentially warm room

In this room, the neutral tones of the upholstery and the turquoise brushstrokes of the accessories go perfectly with the natural finish wood furniture, with marked knots and veins, which are the stars of the space.

10 An art deco living room

Inspired by the sophisticated art deco style, the interior of this house intends to transport us to Miami in the thirties, combining pre-existing elements such as noble wood in frames and doors and custom-made furniture with beveled mirrors, and playing with different colors in the walls and incorporating accessories in gold and pastel tones.

I am fond of design and repairs for the last 4 years. For this, I managed to learn a lot of nuances of repair, which I want to share here. I also love to create and make collections of ideas for inspiration.
