How to decorate a Christmas table with children: 12 great advices

We set the table, thinking of the little ones in the house. Without fear of getting hurt or breaking something, and to have the most fun at these parties.

When you receive a lot of people at home for dinner during Christmas, it is very normal to think of putting two tables, one for the adults and the other for the children, so we are all more comfortable talking about our things… But leave the children alone surrounded by cutlery and crystal glasses is not advisable. This table that we present to you is a good example of how to seat the little ones, avoiding all dangers and maintaining the Christmas style. Guaranteed fun without any worries.

Children are the ones who enjoy Christmas the most, without a doubt, so they deserve special attention from us. And why not, set up a space for them, with fun and cheerful details and decorations. If adults look for elegant decorations with gold and silver, children will prefer bright and cheerful colors. Look for more fun decorations like gnomes, reindeer and other woodland animals to decorate your own party table.

An installation of stars hanging from the ceiling adds a very special touch to the entire environment.

In addition to the traditional Christmas fir tree decorated with balls and decorations in white and red, another tree has been added to the wall made of branches. A very easy craft to make, you just need some branches, some string and some ingenuity to build a similar tree so you can hang it on any wall. If you don’t dare, you can buy the model that we have used in this decoration, from A Loja do Gato Preto, as well as the wooden garland.

Tableware: so that you do not have to be aware of the smallest of the family, use disposable or unbreakable tableware (plastic or melamine) at the children’s table, which you can also choose with fun shapes, as in this case, of Santa Claus. Simplify the cutlery and if you can avoid putting knives. A good option is to get bamboo cutlery that you can reuse for other occasions. And the same for glasses, avoid putting glass on the children’s table. There are melamine glasses with very nice designs that do not break and are reusable.
